The 2014 Cullman County Rabies Clinic will be held on May 31, 2014 at various sites in Cullman County. Alabama state law requires all dogs and cats 3 months of age and older be vaccinated against rabies. The state health department is requiring a county wide check on dogs and cats that are eligible for vaccination. The health department will conduct a door to door check for rabies vaccinations after July 1, 2014. The cost of rabies vaccination will be $10.00 per pet at the county clinics. The rabies clinics are under the supervision of Cullman veterinarians. For more information concerning locations of rabies clinics, please see this week’s Shoppers Guide or The Cullman Times. State law prohibits any other procedures and vaccinations being performed at county rabies clinics.
